This morning we met LUL management for more discussions on the Night Tube dispute. ASLEF believe progress has been made and are now waiting to get detailed proposals in writing.
We expect that these proposals will include the ability for Night Tube drivers to move into full time roles after 12, rather than 18 months, and a detailed plan to recruit new night tube drivers to backfill positions. This will mean that part time drivers can be released to move to full time roles as vacancies for which they have nominated arise.
Arrangements are being made for members meeting next Monday for a full report back. Details will be confirmed as soon as possible.
