This morning ASLEF held a preliminary meeting with LU at ACAS  to discuss the issues in our current dispute. 

Although management say they want to work with us to find solutions, we pointed out that we have had over 60 meetings over an 18 month period, yet the commitments made in the 2015 pay deal have not been delivered.

ASLEF know that our members want more than promises of jam tomorrow or more talks about talks.

We will keep negotiating to find a genuine solution but we know from bitter experience that management will only deliver when we can show the support of our members.
