This year ASLEF’s District 8 which covers London Underground, Tubelines and Croydon Tramlink held our first BAME members forum. Next year we aim to make it even bigger and better with leading figures from the Labour movement in London including Marsha de Cordova, Shadow Secretary of State for People with Disabilities and Florence Eshalomi Chair of the GLA Transport Committee and Parliamentary candidate for Vauxhall, among our guests.

We aim to bring together BAME members from across the District to discuss how we build a stronger, more inclusive ASLEF by sharing best practice among our branches and building our network of active and involved BAME members.
